There are various types of music in this world. Music plays an important role in entertainment. Rarely you can hear a song without one word of cursing. One of the types of music that contains a lot of curse words in their lyrics is rap. As time passes by a whole song might be just made up out of curse words. Our society is allowing this by buying singers or rappers CD’s without knowing the corruption that is in it, and putting no stop to it. The lyrics are becoming really strong for the ones that usually buy it, kids. Some children seek on role models, but some singers corrupt their listeners and inadvertently make them think that anarchy and societal chaos are a good idea. So is the society making an effort to try to stop entertainment in being so corruptive?Entertainment is the act, art of amusing or state of being amused. Now at days entertainment is “ruining” our society. Is entertainment turning into a provocative amusement or is it just a fun, mindless hobby? TV shows, music and movies are each day becoming more insulting, by what they call “entertainment.”

Now in days TV shows just in their title show you how discourteous a TV show can be, for example: Jack***. It is known that if children watch a lot of TV they are less aroused by violent scenes than are those who only watch a little; in other words, they’re less bothered by violence in general and less likely to see anything wrong with it. The music videos shown are becoming malicious and making it seem like women are below men and not have any respect for women. There are negative influences regarding gender attitudes, behaviors, ethnic and occupational roles and standards of beauty, family life, and sexuality. Some health experts blame television for poor physical conditions of American adolescents. There are misinterpreted sexual and relationship messages. Television also can be deceiving. It teaches that problems are easily resolved and everything turns out right in the end, when in real life that is not always true.
